Gerry Doohan has been invaluable to us over the last 12 months . We moved into our new home in Donegal in March 2016 and have had a number of problems . We needed emergency  help with broken central heating boiler over the easter holidays.  He came out same day and provided excellent service. A few weeks later the dishwasher broke down and he very quickly  sourced replacement  parts and fixed it in quick time. He has been reliable, efficient  and gives great value. I have no hesitation  in recommending  him.

I had to call Gerry several times for different jobs in the (rented) house. What I appreciate most is the fact that when he says he’ll be in at 9.30 (or any other time) he is in!

First time, it was the dishwasher. He sort of fixed it but said that most likely it wouldn’t last (it didn’t). Also said that to have it repaired would be very expensive and as the dishwasher was minimum 16 years old, the next thing to go would be the pump….had a chat with my landlady who told me to have it exchanged. Gerry comes with a new one and thanks to the idiotic fact that the kitchen units and appliances were put in first and the floor tiled last, it was very tricky to get the old one out and the new one in. He managed to do that without damaging the surrounding units or worktop. Great job!

Today, he was in to service the central heating. I feel so much safer knowing that everything is up to scratch!

I could tell you another story how I had to call him because my built-in fridge/freezer was suddenly dead…..clever man that he is, it took him 30 seconds to find that I had switched the whole thing off when putting stuff into the compartment on top of the fridge….but at least I now do know where to switch the whole thing off!

I can only highly recommend him! He knows what he is doing, he doesn’t try to sell you something you don’t really need and best of all – he is on time!

We live in Bunbeg and we recently had a problem with our washing machine and Gerry was recommended to us. Gerry called to us the same day we made contact with him. We found him to be very efficient and his bill was very reasonable. We were happy with him overall and he even called a second time to check everything was still working.
